She did not hesitate for a second.

While her friends got dressed up, Bahsous got her hands wrapped in Bangkok and stopped Phontip Khlongtoeiyouthcenter via TKO in just 89 seconds – a finish so fast and clean it made the entire Lumpinee Stadium crowd take notice. Sixteen career wins. Sixteen years old.

And for those who are curious, the prom date took the news well and was proud that she pulled off the highlight-reel win. Bahsous missed the night, but she walked away with something no corsage could replace.
