Lamsing Vows To Chop Down Rhenimi At ONE Friday Fights 175

Lamsing T1 Fight Academy appears to be firing on all cylinders. The Thai veteran sports a 73-18 record, rides a three-bout winning streak into his main event battle this Friday, October 16, and could be just one standout performance away from a life-changing US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE Championship’s global roster. Lamsing will headline ONE Friday Fights 175 against Abdessamie Rhenimi inside Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, and he is laser-focused.

Preparing For The Most Dangerous Kind Of Opponent

None of that contract talk is on Lamsing’s mind right now, though.

Standing across from him is a 20-year-old Moroccan with his back against the wall, and fighters in that position tend to bring out a different level of urgency and danger. Lamsing understands that better than most, and he’s built a game plan specifically designed to neutralize it.

“I see Abdessamie as a fast fighter who throws a lot of strikes and keeps them coming. My game plan is to stay close to him and not give him the distance to work,” the 30-year-old Thai said.

“I’ll focus on attacking his legs because he’s a tall, long fighter who kicks well. It’s like chopping down a tree. The plan is to cut down his legs with kicks and keep walking him down.”

A Hidden Weapon Waiting In Close Quarters

Lamsing’s strategy doesn’t stop at the leg kicks, either.

Despite giving up roughly two inches in height, the veteran has no intention of avoiding the clinch, a phase of the fight where he feels just as comfortable inflicting damage.

“I’ve thought about knees and the clinch too,” Lamsing added. “I’ve got them ready, and I’ll definitely bring them out in the ring. Yes, I want to knock him out. And I think it’ll be my punches that close the show and end this fight.”

A Bigger Prize Still Waiting In The Background

As locked in as Lamsing is on Friday’s assignment, there’s a larger goal quietly sitting behind it.

A statement win could set up the sequel he’s been craving since August 2025, when Denkriangkrai Mavinn Muaythai handed him a unanimous decision loss that has never fully sat right with him.

“Right now, I want to focus fully on this Friday’s fight. I’ll get through it and perform my best first,” Lamsing said. “If I fight well and win, I’d like a rematch with Denkriangkrai to get my revenge.”
