Cristiano Ronaldo Scores His Maiden Serie A Goal For Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo is off the mark for Juventus after scoring twice in Sunday's 2-1 win over Sassuolo.
Cristiano Ronaldo's wait for his first Juventus goal ended on Sunday with the Portuguese netting a brace in a 2-1 win over Sassuolo.
Having gone scoreless in his previous four Serie A appearances, the 33-year-old's frustrations were finally lifted in the 50th minute when he stirred in the opener at the Allianz Stadium.
Ronaldo then doubled his tally, with a clinical left-footed finish after being fed through by Emre Can.
His second Juventus goal marked the 400th league goal of his career, a tally spread across spells at Real Madrid (311), Manchester United (84), Sporting CP (3) and the Old Lady (2).
Ronaldo joined the Bianconeri from Real Madrid in July in a €112million deal, ending a nine-year association with Los Blancos after winning three successive Champions League titles.
Prior to breaking his Serie A duck, he scored in his first unofficial outing for Juventus, in the Italian champions' annual friendly against the club's youth side.
