Isco And Mateo Kovacic Set To Start El Clasico?
A look at the early morning team news coming out of Spain on El Clasico day.
There's plenty of rumor on this El Clasico day, with Barcelona and Real Madrid looking to find the perfect blend.
Zinedine Zidane insisted yesterday in his pre-game press conference that he knew which XI would take the field on Saturday.
Now the Madrid press has been speculating what exactly that is.
According to Marca, both Mateo Kovacic and Isco will get the nod for Real Madrid. It means no place for Casemiro, with Zidane apparently not deeming the player ready for the game in time.
The report states the Brazilian 'lacks rhythm after his injury' and for that reason will start on the bench.
COPE radio station meanwhile, say that Real Madrid will line up in a 4-4-2, with the following XI: Keylor, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Modric, Isco, Kovacic; Lucas, Cristiano and Benzema.
Meanwhile the hosts have already picked their squad, and left one man out. With Andres Iniesta fit, there is no place for Rafinha who will be watching the game from the stands.
