Barcelona and Neymar have reportedly come to a pre-agreement over extending the contract of the Brazilian star.
Neymar's current deal runs until 2018, but according to Spanish radio show El Partido de las 12, an agreement ahead of signing a new contract has been made.
The deal is not binding, but it does stipulate a series of clauses ahead of signing a full contract.
According to Spanish radio show El Partido de las 12, Neymar is agreeing to three more years being added to his deal which would take him up until 2021. In turn, the striker would also see an increase in salary.
On Monday Barcelona's economic vice president, Susana Monje, said that Neymar's deal would be priority for this summer. "
The most important signing ahead of next season is the renewal of Neymar's contract," said Monje to La Vanguardia.
"Everything is going well. The player is happy and that's the most important thing."
Neymar himself stated a few days ago that contract talks were progressing, and heading in the direction, as he reiterated his happiness at the club.
