Guatemala's Carlos Ruiz became the highest scorer in World Cup qualifier history after scoring five goals in his final international appearance.
The 36-year-old has now scored 38 goals in World Cup qualifiers, beating the record of Iran's Ali Daei, previously set at 35.
As a mark of respect for the player he was handed a guard of honor at the end of the game.
Unfortunately it was not all good news for Ruiz, as despite the win Guatemala were eliminated from contention for the 2018 World Cup.
