Nasser Al Khelaifi has been voted the Chairman of the Asian Tennis Federation, it has been announced. The election of Al Khelaifi was confirmed at today’s Asian Tennis federation general assembly which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This is not the first time that Khelafi has been elected to head up the ATF having previously been the chairman between 2015 and 2017. Along with being the Chairman of the ATF, Khelaifi is also the current President of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) along with being the current Chairman of French football side Paris Saint-Germain. Al Khelafifi has previously represented Qatar in the Davis Cup and has been a keen supporter of Tennis within Qatar down the years.
