Naholo named in All Blacks squad
Thought to have been ruled out, Waisake Naholo made a miracle recovery to be named in the All Blacks' Rugby World Cup squad.
Waisake Naholo has made a miracle recovery from a broken leg, doing enough to earn a spot in Steve Hansen's 31-man All Blacks squad for the Rugby World Cup.
The 24-year-old wing made his international debut against Argentina, but was withdrawn in the 51st minute in Christchurch with what was believed to be a World Cup-ending injury.
Despite a three-month prognosis from a cracked bone, Naholo was among the names Hansen read out in Wellington in a much-anticipated squad for the World Cup holders.
