Kerr vows to play all four Warriors together at All-Star Game
Warriors coach Steve Kerr promises that all four of his players will be the floor at the same time during the All-Star Game in New Orleans.
Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr promises that all four of his players who made the Western Conference All-Star roster will be on the floor at the same time for part of the game in New Orleans.
Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant were each voted All-Star starters, and Draymond Green and Klay Thompson were named reserves for the February 19 fixture on Thursday.
It marks the second time the Warriors have had four players on the All-Star team.
"Oh, I'm absolutely going to [play all four together]," Kerr, who will coach the West squad, is quoted as saying by the San Francisco Chronicle. "Those four will be together for sure. I can guarantee you that will happen at some point because that'll be a pretty cool thing.
"It'll be fun for at least a couple minutes to get them together."
Thompson added: "That would be really cool. I wonder who the fifth player would be."
Asked if that fifth man would be Thunder guard Russell Westbrook - Durant’s estranged former team-mate in Oklahoma City - Kerr grinned and walked away, according to ESPN.
