Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green says he does not care if he scores after becoming the first person in NBA history to record a triple-double without reaching 10 points.

Green scored just four points in Golden State's 122-107 victory at the Memphis Grizzlies. He had 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals in the game.

"I wouldn't say it felt like an unusual game because I don't score every night," Green told NBA TV. "I didn't even know I had that many steals. 

"I don't really keep track of those things. I just try to play the game."

Green even added five blocked shots to add another historic first, becoming the first player to record 10 steals and five blocks in the same game since they became official statistics in 1973. His 10 steals were also a franchise record. .

The triple-double was Green's fourth of the season and 18th of his four-year career. Had he scored six more points, he would have joined Nate Thurmond, Alvin Robertson, Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson as the only players in NBA history to record a quadruple-double.

"I really don't care if I score," Green said. "I'd rather get a triple-double that way than a quadruple-double.

"A lot of people don't realize you can be in a defensive groove and [Friday], I felt like I was on point with that."

Green joined Robertson, a four-time All-Star in the 1980s with the San Antonio Spurs and Milwaukee Bucks, as the only players in league history with at least 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals in a game.

While Green was doing the dirty work, the Warriors got a game-high 36 points from Klay Thompson. Kevin Durant added 24, Andre Iguodala dropped 22, and Stephen Curry finished with 18 points.
