Mbappé scores four as PSG thrash Lyon 5-0

Teenager Kylian Mbappé scored four goals, including an 8-minute hat-trick as PSG thumped Lyon 5-0 to maintain their perfect start to the Ligue 1 season on Sunday evening.
Lyon lost key playmaker Nabil Fekir through injury with seven minutes on the clock. Whilst PSG quickly took advantage two minutes later as Mbappé was bundled down in the box, leaving the referee little choice but to award the penalty. Neymar stepped and calmly slotted past Anthony Lopes to give the Parisians an early lead.
The complexion of the contest changed as Presnel Kimpembe was shown red for a rash challenge. PSG boss Thomas Tuchel quickly set about reorganizing his side with summer signing Thilo Kehrer quickly on to replace a rather displeased Edison Cavani. Both Neymar & Marco Verratti picked up yellow cards as the game threatened to boil over at times. Whilst just before the break Lyon were reduced to ten men when Lucas Tousart picked up a second yellow and was given his marching orders.
PSG doubled their advantage just after the hour mark before the floodgates opened with the mercurial Mbappé hitting a hat-trick in just eight minutes. However, it wasn't over for the French international who drilled in his fourth goal of the contest on the 74th minute to emphatically hand the Parisians all three points.
PSG now have won all eight of the Ligue 1 season, up next for Tuchel's side after the international break is an away trip to Amiens.
