Montreal Impact star Drogba ruled out for Canadian derby
For the second straight match, the former Chelsea player will miss action due to a toe injury against Toronto FC on Saturday.
Montreal Impact forward Didier Drogba will miss Saturday's Canadian derby against Toronto FC.
A toe injury will once again keep Drogba off the pitch for the rivalry matchup at BMO Field, after the former Chelsea man sat out the Impact's loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps in the second leg of the Amway Canadian Championship on Wednesday.
Drogba has played just 30 minutes since joining the club on July 27.
The Impact's match against Toronto FC will be crucial for both sides in the Eastern Conference standings. Montreal is currently in sixth place right behind TFC.
