David Warner has allayed concerns over a finger injury that he sustained during Australia's tri-series victory over South Africa on Saturday.

Warner made a sublime century in St Kitts as the world champions beat the Proteas by 36 runs, but the opening batsman came off the field after damaging his finger when attempting to take a catch.

The in-form Australia vice-captain was able to give an encouraging update on his condition after his latest heroics.

When asked if he would be available to face the West Indies on Tuesday, Warner said: "Definitely. A sore finger isn't really going to stop me but if it's broken that might.

"The finger is quite sore ... it's quite painful ... it didn't look too good.

"I've broken the thumb twice now, I know what that feels like. Hopefully, being positive, there's not much damage."

Australia top the tri-series table after winning two of their first three games.
