Blacks Caps in the dark amid tour cancellation rumours
If, as rumoured, the series between India and New Zealand has been cancelled, no-one has told the Black Caps.
New Zealand claim they have not been informed of any changes to the schedule of their Test series with India amid reports the tour has been cancelled.
Media in the subcontinent have claimed the Board of Control for Cricket in India has called off the contest ahead of the third Test, which is due to start at Holkar Stadium on Saturday.
According to the Indian Express, the BCCI has pulled out of the remainder of the series after the Lodha committee, commissioned to investigate the affairs of cricket administration in the country, called on banks to restrict the national governing body's access to funds.
However, New Zealand Cricket spokesperson Richard Boock claimed it is business as usual for the Black Caps.
"It's the first time we've heard of it," Boock said.
"We have had no official contact from the BCCI.
"At the moment we are preparing to play the third Test at Indore as scheduled."
The three-Test series, which is due to be followed by five one-day internationals, is already over as a contest after the tourists lost both of the opening matches, by 197 runs and 178 runs respectively.
