Sore hip keeps Murray on sidelines
Andy Murray pulled out of a scheduled exhibition match as a precaution after being troubled by a niggling hip injury.
Andy Murray is set to start Wimbledon with only two matches on grass under his belt this year after withdrawing from an exhibition at Hurlingham Club.
The world No.1 was due to be in action in London on Wednesday (AEST), but announced he would not feature until Saturday (AEST) because of a hip problem.
Murray signed up to play at Hurlingham for the first time in three years after a surprise first-round loss to Jordan Thompson at the Aegon Championships last week.
The Wimbledon champion was supposed to face Lucas Pouille at the Aspall Tennis Classic, but took no chances the week before he starts the defence of his title at the All England Club.
Murray reached the semi-finals of the French Open before starting his grass-court campaign with a shock loss at Queen's Club.
