Unbeaten Warriors rout Ospreys as Scarlets survive
There were no surprises as Glasgow Warriors remained perfect in Pro14, but Scarlets had to endure a nervy afternoon.
Unbeaten Glasgow Warriors cemented its position atop Conference A by battering Ospreys in Pro14, while Southern Kings' long wait for a first win goes on as it was downed by Scarlets' second-half revival.
It has been a superb start to the season for the Warriors, who made it nine from nine with a 47-6 rout away to an Ospreys side that is bottom of the pool.
The visitors ran in seven tries, with George Horne scoring twice and Adam Hastings, Scott Cummings, George Turner, Brandon Thomson and Leonardo Sarto also dotting down.
Munster remains second in Conference A, after running out a comfortable 36-19 winner at lowly Zebre, Alex Wootton scoring twice in the second half.
South African franchise Southern Kings appeared to be heading for a shock victory against Conference B leader Scarlets as tries from Michael Makase, Yaw Penxe and Martin du Toit had the hosts 23-10 ahead just after half-time.
Ioan Nicholas and Werner Kruger's converted tries put the visitors ahead and, although Harlon Klaasen's score had the Kings briefly back in front, Daniel Jones completed a dramatic 34-30 win for Scarlets with nine minutes remaining.
