Demichelis re-joins Malaga until end of season
Martin Demichelis has re-joined Malaga on a deal that runs until the end of the season.
The Argentina centre-back previously played for the LaLiga club for three seasons, helping the club to a fourth-place finish in 2011-2012 and the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League a season later.
He left for Manchester City in September 2013, after coach Manuel Pellegrini to the Etihad Stadium and winning the Premier League and two EFL Cups in his time in England.
Demichelis signed for Espanyol following his release by City in June but was let go by the Catalan club last week.
And Malaga have quickly swooped in to bolster its defence by signing him to a short-term deal.
Malaga is 13th in LaLiga, with only five teams having conceded more goals than the 31 shipped by Marcelo Romero's men this season.
