Leckie scores as Hertha held
Australia attacker Mathew Leckie scored his second goal in the space of a week, giving Hertha BSC an early lead in its 1-1 Bundesliga draw with Werder Bremen.
Less than a week after scoring the winning goal for the Socceroos against Thailand on Tuesday, Leckie was again on the scoresheet, putting Hertha in front just after the half hour mark.
Leckie pounced on a loose ball, rifling home a crisp finish to score his third goal in as many games this season.
The lead would be short-lived for the home side, Thomas Delaney equalising for Bremen midway through the second half.
