Brazilian team Fortaleza got thrashed 4-1 by Nacional Potosí in the high-altitude Bolivian match, losing their unbeaten record, but they stayed ahead in Group D of the CONMEBOL Copa Sudamericana.

Potosí's 'Rancho Guitarra' scored big and secured their first win in the tournament with goals from Argentine players Facundo Callejo and Martín Prost; on the Bolivian side, Saulo Guerra and Willan Álvarez found the net.

Despite the outcome, the Brazilian squad kept their lead in Group D with 9 points, while Nacional Potosí gathered 4 points, landing in third place in the group.
