Djokovic and Murray end coaching partnership
Andy Murray's coaching adventure with Novak Djokovic has come to an end, the pair have confirmed.
Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have called time on their partnership after six months.
Former world number one Murray joined Djokovic's coaching team ahead of the Australian Open.
Djokovic reached the last four in Melbourne before retiring hurt from his semi-final tie against Alexander Zverev.
It was speculated that the 24-time grand slam champion would split with Murray after the season's opening major, but the Scot continued in his role for the Sunshine Swing.
Djokovic reached the final of the Miami Open, only to lose to Jakub Mensik as a chance to win his 100th ATP Tour-level title passed him by.
In a post on social media, Djokovic wrote: "Thank you, coach Andy, for all the hard work, fun and support over last six months on and off the court.
"I really enjoyed deepening our friendship together."
Murray said: "Thanks to Novak for the unbelievable opportunity to work together, and thanks to his team for all their hard work over the past six months."
"I wish Novak all the best for the rest of the season."
Djokovic is on a poor run of form, having lost in his opening match at four of the last five tournaments he has featured in.
The Serbian also skipped the ongoing Italian Open, though he will feature at the Geneva Open as he prepares for Roland-Garros, which starts later this month.
