The 2026 Formula 1 season continues in Montreal, where the Canadian Grand Prix will take centre stage from May 23 to 25!

Held at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, the race marks the fifth round of the 2026 campaign and will also host the season’s third Sprint event, before teams and drivers head into a Monaco and Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix back-to-back in June.

Rising Italian star Kimi Antonelli came out on top in Miami earlier this month to remain top of the drivers’ standings with 100 points, 20 clear of Mercedes teammate George Russell. In the constructors’ championship meanwhile, Mercedes hold a commanding 70-point lead over nearest challengers Ferrari (110), with a resurgent McLaren close behind on 94 points.

Among the current drivers on the grid, Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton boasts the most victories in Montreal with seven. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen then claimed four consecutive wins from 2022 to 2024, before Russell ended that streak with victory last year.
