Formula 1® Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026: How to watch LIVE on beIN SPORTS!

Formula 1® heads to the iconic Sepang for the Bahrain Grand Prix! Watch every session live on beIN SPORTS!

Formula 1® returns to Sepang from October 2 to 4 for the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, marking the championship’s first visit to the iconic circuit since 2017.

Originally scheduled for April, the Bahrain Grand Prix was postponed due to the ongoing conflict and security situation in the Middle East. The race will now take place at Sepang, following an agreement between Formula 1®, the FIA and the governments of Bahrain and Malaysia.

Sepang has a rich F1 history, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1999 and remaining on the calendar until 2017. Eddie Irvine won the inaugural race, while Sebastian Vettel holds the record with four victories. Max Verstappen was the most recent winner in 2017.

Featuring long straights, fast corners and challenging technical sections, Sepang's wide layout offers plenty of overtaking opportunities, while the tropical heat and unpredictable rain can make for a demanding race.

The Drivers’ Championship heads into Sepang with Mercedes teammates Kimi Antonelli and George Russell leading the way. Antonelli remains at the top of the standings, while Russell closed the gap to 66 points with victory in Azerbaijan. Lando Norris, Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri remain in contention, setting up another crucial weekend in the title race.

The Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia is not a Sprint weekend, so it's the usual format of Qualifying on Saturday and the main race on Sunday. Catch all the action from every corner of every race LIVE on beIN SPORTS CONNECT - click here to subscribe now!
