Formula 1 has confirmed the six venues that will stage F1 Sprint events in the 2026 season – with three new tracks joining the format.

The 2026 campaign will usher in a new era of regulations while also marking the sixth year of the Sprint format. The first Sprint of the season will take place in Shanghai, before heading to Miami, with both Grands Prix hosting the event for a third consecutive year.

Silverstone returns to the Sprint calendar for the first time since hosting the inaugural Sprint in 2021, while Montreal, Zandvoort, and Singapore will feature for the very first time.

Sprints are 100-kilometre dash races, roughly one-third the distance of a Grand Prix. The format sees Free Practice 1 on Friday, followed by Sprint Qualifying later that day. Saturday hosts both the Sprint and Grand Prix Qualifying, before the main Grand Prix on Sunday.
