1. beIN Sports Asia Pte Limited (UEN 201541071K), having its registered office at 80 Pasir Panjang Road, #15-81 Mapletree Business City, 117372 Singapore (“beIN Sports”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Agreement to T&Cs

2. By registering for any events ("Events") organised by beIN Sports, including any physical event (“Physical Event”) and virtual events (such as webinars and/or other forms of digital engagements (“Virtual Event”), you (also referenced as the "participant") are acknowledging to have read and agreed to these T&Cs, and acknowledge that the decisions of beIN Sports are final and binding. Your participation in the Events is contingent upon your compliance with these T&Cs and fulfilment of all other requirements set forth herein.

3. These General Event T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of any inconsistency with any other reference to the Events.

General Terms

4. beIN Sports may, at any time, at its sole and absolute discretion, for any reasons and without prior notice to the participant:

(a) postpone, cancel, interrupt or terminate the Events;

(b) vary, add, cancel or substitute advertised programmes; and/or

(c) change Events times, venue or audience capacity, including for reasons due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to inclement weather, epidemics/pandemics or precautionary or other measures to mitigate the risk of infection transmission, acts of God, acts of the enemy, decrees or restraints by governmental or public authorities, health warnings, advisories or other directives issued by any government agency, terrorism, strikes, war, riots, insurrections, civil commotion, transmission and/or communications disruptions or failure and other causes of such nature), without any liability to beIN Sports or its sponsors or partners.

5. The participant acknowledges and agrees that:

(a) beIN Sports shall not be responsible for any minors left unattended at the Events. All children below 13 years of age attending the Events must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

(b) Entry to the Events venue may be subject to the venue owner’s, beIN Sports' and/or the organiser’s prevailing terms and conditions of entry.

(c) Entry to the Events may be subject to age restrictions specified in publicity for the Events. each participant may be asked to produce his/her valid photo ID (NRIC, Passport, Driver’s License or Employment Pass) for inspection before being granted admission to the Events.

6. To the maximum extent allowed under applicable law,

(a) beIN Sports shall not be liable for any claim, damage or loss of any kind of any nature whatsoever caused and howsoever arising as a result (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) of or otherwise in connection with registration for, attendance at, postponement or cancellation of the Events; and

(b) in no event shall beIN Sports be liable for personal injury, death, or any incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, damages for contracting an illness during the Events, loss of profits, corruption or loss of data, failure to transmit or receive any data, business interruption or any other commercial damages or losses, arising out of or related to registration for, attendance at, postponement or cancellation of the Events, howsoever caused, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort or otherwise) and even if beIN Sports has been advised of the possibility of such damages, and all participants may also be required to sign an indemnity form.

7. By registering for the Events, each participant agrees and consents to:

(a) beIN Sports, as well as their affiliates, respective representatives, agents or authorised service providers, collecting, using, disclosing and processing the participant's personal data, and sharing the participant's personal data between themselves and their business partners, to communicate with the participant for purposes related to the Events, to provide goods and services to the participant, for beIN Sports’s publicity and/or advertising campaigns connected to the Events, or in relation to which the participant has otherwise provided beIN Sports with consent;

(b) beIN Sports, as well as their affiliates, respective representatives, agents or authorised service providers, collecting, using, disclosing and processing the participant's personal data, and sharing between themselves and their business partners, the participant's personal data including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in beIN Sports and affiliates’ publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Event or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and the participant further agrees that the Virtual Events may be recorded, and by the participant providing any video or audio feeds, which shall also be deemed to be part of the Materials, he/she agrees that these feeds may be recorded as part of the recording of the Virtual Events, which beIN Sports may use, distribute and/or exploit in such manner as it may see fit, including without limitation, via postings on social media and other distribution platforms.

(c) Consent for Minors: Where the participant is below 13 years of age ("Minor"), the parent or legal guardian ("Parent/Guardian") of the Minor must register on behalf of the Minor. By completing registration, the Parent/Guardian confirms that they have full authority to consent to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the Minor, and that they have read, understood and agreed to all clauses herein, including Clauses 7(a) and 1(b) above, on the Minor's behalf.

(i) Where the participant is a Minor, we will: (i) use the Minor's personal data, image, likeness, voice and recordings ("Minor's Data") only for the purposes set out in Clauses 7(a) and 1(b) above, and will not use the Minor's Data for any other purposes without the separate express written consent of the Parent/Guardian; (ii) not share the Minor's Data with any third party for purposes unrelated to the Events; and (iii) retain the Minor's Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated herein in accordance with our data retention policy.

(ii)The Parent/Guardian may, at any time, withdraw consent for the future use of the Minor's image, likeness, voice or recordings by notifying beIN Sports in writing. Such withdrawal shall not affect the legality of any collection, use or disclosure of the Minor's Data carried out prior to the date of withdrawal, including any Materials already published or distributed.

(iii)Participants and Parent/Guardians are hereby notified that photography, audio recording, and video recording will take place at the Events and that Minors may be captured in such recordings. If a Parent/Guardian does not consent to their Minor child being photographed or recorded, they must avoid the Event area at the relevant time or contact an Event administrator. beIN Sports will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate such requests, but cannot guarantee that a Minor will not be incidentally captured in group or venue-wide footage.

(iv) beIN Sports is committed to handling the personal data of Minors in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore) and any applicable guidelines issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.

8. Additionally, by registering for the Events, each participant further agrees that:

(a) the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Material shall vest solely and absolutely in beIN Sports without further compensation; and

(b) to the maximum extent permissible under law, each participant hereby waives its moral rights comprised in and to all Material in favour of beIN Sports.

9. The participants acknowledge and agree that any information and views expressed by the guest speakers or presenters are solely their own and the beIN Sports is not responsible for any of the information or views made available at the Events. The participants further understand, acknowledge and agree that beIN Sports make no warranties or representations in respect of, nor do beIN Sports guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, integrity or quality of any information or any other content or material which may be made available via the Events.

10. The speaker or presenter shall ensure its rightful ownership of any copyright and any other intellectual property rights in their presentation materials and that any facts, representations, statements whatsoever made in these materials are true and accurate. beIN Sports shall be in no way liable for these materials.

11. beIN Sports reserves the right to refuse admission or evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or who poses a threat to security, or to the enjoyment of the Events by others, as determined by beIN Sports in its sole and absolute discretion, without compensation.

12. The participants agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations, beIN Sports’ and venue owners’ instructions and guidelines, throughout the duration of the Events. Participation at the Events is subject to any further terms and conditions that beIN Sports may impose from time to time.

Specific Terms for Virtual Events

13. The participant acknowledges and agrees that:

(a) The participant and/or beIN Sports's access to the Internet and/or Virtual Event may be prevented and/or interrupted by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of beIN Sports including, without limitation, unavailability or interruption of the Internet or other electronic or telecommunication services and network transmissions ("Service Disruption Event"). beIN Sports will not be responsible or liable for any losses and/or indirect or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with any such Service Disruption Event.

(b) The participants are solely responsible for providing, at their own expense, all equipment necessary to access the Virtual Event, including but not limited to a computer and their own internet access (including payment of third party charges associated with such access, as applicable).

(c) In order to access the Virtual Event, the participant may be required to configure his/her software settings on a web-device upon first use, to download the software for the operating system, and/or to create an account and password with a third-party platform service provider.

(d) Any registration data provided by the participant to the third-party platform service provider, is subject to their terms and conditions. beIN Sports and/or the organiser will not be provided, obtain, use, or disseminate any such registration data. beIN Sports and the organiser expressly disclaims any liability for the third-party platform service provider’s use of any registration data the participants provide to them.

(e) The participant is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his/her passwords and accounts with the third-party platform service provider and for any and all statements made and acts or omissions that occur through the use of the passwords and accounts, including any mail or other forms of communication sent and any charges incurred.

(f) The Virtual Event and any recordings are to be viewed by the participant who had registered for the Virtual Event only; the content must under no circumstances be recorded, modified, uploaded, posted, transmitted, republished, distributed, used, adapted, reproduced, translated, or copied for any purpose whatsoever without prior written permission from beIN Sports, the organiser and/or the content provider.

14. The participant further acknowledges and agrees that:

(a) The participants of the Virtual Event are solely responsible for any content they post, communicate or otherwise make available on or through the Virtual Events, including without limitation, the contents of accuracy, reliability, nature, rights clearance, compliance with law and legal restrictions associated with any of such content (including without limitation, the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act 2019 (No. 18 of 2019) and the Protection from Harassment Act (Cap. 256A)). Any content made available by the participant is not considered confidential by beIN Sports and may be disseminated or used by beIN Sports without compensation or liability to the participants for any purpose whatsoever.

(b) By posting information in or otherwise using any communications service, chat room, message board, newsgroup, software library, or other interactive service that may be available to the participant through the Virtual Events, the participant agrees that he/she will not communicate, upload, share, post, or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content including text, communications, software, images, sounds, data, or other information that:

(i) is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another’s privacy, tortious, contains explicit or graphic descriptions or accounts of sexual acts (including but not limited to sexual language of a violent or threatening nature directed at another individual or group of individuals), or otherwise violates our rules or policies;

(ii) victimises, harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability;

(iii) infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other proprietary right of any party;

(iv) constitutes unauthorised or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk e-mail (also known as “spamming”), chain letters, any other form of unauthorized solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling;

(v) transmits software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any data or other information of any third party; or impersonates any person or entity, including any of our employees or representatives.

15. All content, including without limitation any content made available by the participants are not monitored by beIN Sports. beIN Sports do not pre-screen nor do we exercise editorial control over content, and are not responsible for the same.

16. beIN Sports may however, in our sole and absolute discretion, screen, delete and/or remove any content made available by the participants if beIN Sports receives a complaint from another participant or a notice of intellectual property infringement or other legal instruction for removal, or which in our sole and absolute opinion violates these Terms and Conditions, or is otherwise illegal or objectionable, or any other reason as beIN Sports may see fit. beIN Sports may use automated systems that analyse any content made available by the participant to help detect infringement and abuse, such as spam, malware, and illegal content.

17. beIN Sports may also block communication by the participants (including but not limited to feedback, postings, messages and/or chats) on the Virtual Events as part of our effort in protecting the Virtual Events or our other participants, or otherwise enforcing the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, without any refund or compensation.

Disputes

18. The Events, these T&Cs and any dispute or claim (including any non-contractual dispute or claim) arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and participant agrees to submit unconditionally to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Singapore to deal with all matters relating to the Events.
