Christian Horner sacked after 20 years at Red Bull
Red Bull Racing sent shockwaves through the Formula 1 world by cutting ties with Christian Horner, bringing an end to his 20-year reign as CEO and Team Principal.
In a bold reshuffle, the Milton Keynes outfit confirmed that Laurent Mekies will step up from sister team Racing Bulls to replace Horner at the helm. Meanwhile, Alan Permane will take over leadership duties at Racing Bulls. Their first race under the new leadership will be the Belgian Grand Prix at the end of July.
