After nearly two years away, three-time ISKA Kickboxing World Champion Akram "La Pepite" Hamidi made his long-awaited return, but it wasn’t without its challengers. He survived an early knockdown to outpoint Watcharaphon Laochokcharoen across three hard-fought rounds in the strawweight Muay Thai main event.

Watcharaphon opened fast, dropping Hamidi with a sharp left hook. However, the French-Algerian slugger answered immediately, knocking down his rival with a right hook of his own to even the score.

From there, Hamidi took full control, as he mixed sweeps, knees, and teeps to keep the Thai guessing. He also connected with a slicing knee, which opened a cut above Watcharaphon’s eye in the third.

Arsoonnoi Doubles Up Nongkhailek For Third Straight Win

The co-main event pitted two hard-nosed Thai strikers against each other, and it was Arsoonnoi Sitjasing who left with his hand raised, dropping Nongkhailek Dr.Knotmuaythai twice en route to a unanimous decision in their flyweight Muay Thai clash.

The pair traded evenly in the opening round, both willing to stand and bang from the outset. However, the tide turned in round two when Nongkhailek's chin slipped out of position mid-exchange. Arsoonnoi made him pay instantly with a crushing overhand right, which put him down for an eight-count. Sensing the shift, Arsoonnoi never let up, hammering the body and dictating pace for the remainder of the frame.

Nongkhailek showed heart in the final round, pushing the action in search of a turnaround. But just as he found his footing, Arsoonnoi countered again, landing another clean right hand that dropped him to the mat for a second time. He beat the referee’s eight-count and fought to the horn, but the two knockdowns made the scorecards a formality. Arsoonnoi walked away with the unanimous nod, his third straight victory, and moved his professional record to 34-13.

A Life-Changing Night For Bomogao

Nobody stole the spotlight quite like Islay Erika Bomogao did earlier on the card. The unbeaten Filipina needed just 13 seconds of the third round to blast Klinphaka Por Thaisong into unconsciousness, pushing her record to a perfect 6-0 and marking her fifth consecutive win inside ONE Friday Fights.

It was also her third straight finish by knockout, further cementing her reputation as one of the most dangerous rising names in the atomweight Muay Thai ranks. But the biggest takeaway wasn't just the highlight-reel finish itself. It was what came after.

That performance was enough to lock in a US$100,000 contract, punching Bomogao's ticket to ONE Championship's global roster for good.
