Stach becomes sixth Leeds signing ahead of Premier League return
Leeds United are continuing to strengthen their squad ahead of the start of the Premier League, with Anton Stach their latest addition.
Leeds United have bolstered their midfield with the signing of Anton Stach from Hoffenheim.
The 26-year-old has reportedly joined for around Β£17m (β¬19.5m) and has put pen to paper on a four-year contract.
Stach spent two seasons with Hoffenheim, making 71 appearances in all competitions. He netted four goals and assisted a further six.
He started all but one of their matches in all competitions, and helped the side to stave off relegation, eventually finishing 15th in the Bundesliga.
"I am excited to join such a good team, such a good Premier League team, and I am looking forward to the next season," said Stach.
"My style of play, I would say, I am an aggressive player. I am good in duels. I am good at anticipating passes from the opponents, and it would be good for the Premier League. Now we will see. I will try my best.
"The biggest target is to stay in the league and personally just develop, adapt to the league, to the speed, of course, and then get many good experiences, hopefully."
Stach is Leeds' sixth signing of the transfer window as they continue to prepare for their return to the Premier League.
He follows Sebastiaan Bornauw, Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Lukas Nmecha and Sean Longstaff into Elland Road.
