The CAF Champions League Semifinals are about to kick off and promise to be some of the most exciting in recent years. The four best teams from the African continent will face off in high-impact duels that will keep us on the edge of our seats.
The first semifinal features a match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Esperance ST. Two teams that have never won the coveted continental trophy and will be seeking glory. The Tunisian team already took the first round after a 1-0 home victory, however, the South Africans will be looking to turn the tide and secure a win at home.
The second ticket to the grand final will be contested between two multi-time champions of the competition. Al-Ahly, the master and owner of the competition with 11 trophies, more than anyone else in Africa; and TP Mazembe, winner of five titles. The first leg ended in a goalless draw, so everything will be decided between these two giants of CAF in the return leg.
Both matches will be played on April 26th, with the Mamelodi Sundowns vs Esperance ST clash at 2:00 PM ET. Meanwhile, the Al Ahly vs TP Mazembe game will be played later at 3:00 PM ET.
