It was a big day Monday for Real Sociedad's Mexican duo of Carlos Vela and Diego Reyes, as both players scored in the club's 5-0 La Liga win at Espanyol.
With his team already up 1-0, Vela scored an audacious chipped goal in the eighth minute – his second tally in three matches.

It was just the fourth league goal for Vela in 2015-16, one season after netting nine times in La Liga. After scoring a brace on Oct. 25, the 26-year-old did not score in the league for Sociedad until Jan. 22.
Fellow Mexico international Reyes – on loan from Porto – saw his first Liga action since December and started as a defensive midfielder. The normal center back made his minutes count with a headed goal off a corner kick in the 55th minute, his first tally for Sociedad.
Goaaaaal! What a header by @Diego_Reyes13. @RealSociedad now up by FOUR! #ESPvRSO https://t.co/UpF5zy2e4x
