Napoli are set to complete the signing of Hector Herrera from Porto within the next few weeks.
According to beIN SPORTS sources the Mexican star will seal a move to Maurizio Sarri's side, after three years with the Portuguese giants.
Herrera is currently playing at the Copa America with Mexico, where he scored on Sunday evening to help his country beat Uruguay 3-1.
The deal should be complete within two weeks time, pending Napoli's sale of Gonzalo Higuain to Liverpool which should go through very soon.
However, other reports coming from Mexico state that Herrera is actually closest to Liverpool and not Napoli.
Herrera's first club, Pachuca, will get a windfall from any deal involving the player given they hold future transfer sale rights. With Napoli set to cough up €19m plus €4 more in variables, the Mexican side will receive 20% of the final fee.
The 26-year-old has become a fan favorite at Porto, and won the 2014-15 player of the season award at the Portuguese outfit.
