Brett Favre And Terrell Owens Make Pro Football Hall Of Fame List
The Pro Football Hall of Fame narrowed its list of potential 2016 inductees from 25 to 15.
Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre headlines a list of 15 potential 2016 inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The list also includes former receiver Terrell Owens and two members of the St Louis Rams "Greatest Show on Turf" teams in quarterback Kurt Warner and offensive tackle Orlando Pace.
Favre, Owens and former Steelers guard Alan Faneca are the three finalists in their first year of eligibility. Of the 15 modern-era finalists, a maximum of five will be elected. The modern-era finalists are joined by two senior finalists in former Oakland Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler and former Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins lineman Dick Stanfel, and contributor finalist Ed DeBartolo, the former owner of the San Francisco 49ers.
The Hall of Fame selection committee will meet on February 6 in San Francisco to pick the 2016 Hall of Fame class. To be elected, a finalist must receive a minimum positive vote of 80 per cent.
