Nantes striker Emiliano Sala has completed a medical at Cardiff City, according to Sky Sports News.
The two sides have agreed a fee around £18 million (€20m/$23m) for the forward, who has 12 goals in 19 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
Cardiff are hoping to have Sala registered in time to play against Newcastle on Saturday.
