Daniel Ricciardo Conquers MonacoGP
The Australian rider celebrated with a shoey and is third in the 2018 driver standings.
Daniel Ricciardo won this Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix. The Australian dominated the race from start to finish. The Red Bull Racing Tag Heuer pilot claimed pole position in a circuit where he has won in multiple occasions but failed to podium in 2016 due to a strategic error.
The 28-year-old was finally able to raise his arms in Monte Carlo and celebrate with a "shoey", drinking champagne from his boot, a strange custom he has taken in recent times and with which he broke the Monegasque protocol. After a perfect weekend in which he dominated the free practice, he claimed pole position and knew how to manage the race to claim round 6 of Formula One.
