LORIENT 0 PSG 1
Before the game
It is a testament to PSG's dominance in France that anything less than a treble haul of domestic silverware would be seen as an unsuccessful season, especially on top of King Zlatan's charges falling out of the Champions League to Manchester City at the quarterfinal stages.
The Ligue Un title was wrapped up in what felt like August, such was the imperious power of PSG and the inability of rivals to get their acts together, and part two continues with a Coupe de France semifinal winner-takes-all clash with Lorient. Part three awaits on Saturday in a Coupe de la Ligue final clash with Lille.
Although the Parisians have already done the double over their mid-table hosts in Ligue Un, this season, the concern for Laurent Blanc will be avoiding his team 'doing a Barca' and allowing the other pieces of silverware that are up for grabs to slip into the chasm of carelessness.
Prediction - PSG to march onwards to a second domestic final of the season
JUVENTUS 3 LAZIO 0
Before the game
Sit back, relax and enjoy simultaneous action from both the Juventus Stadium and seven other Serie A grounds and allow a beIN SPORTS producer do all the legwork in a shift that will surely end in a stiff whiskey. If not before. It's Multicalcio action, the most Italian fun you could possibly have without Silvio Berlusconi and a party-planner being involved.
Juventus could see the league title coming even closer in a home clash against Lazio in the afternoon's big game, whilst Roma continue their dogged pursuit of second-place Napoli, despite a dressing room bust up in Sunday's draw against Atalanta.
Europa League-chasing Inter and Fiorentina are out on the road, looking to avoid an uncomfortable end to the season with clashes against Genoa and Udinese respectively.
Prediction - Goals, goals, goals. And even more goals. And a possible mental breakdown in a control room
REAL MADRID 3 VILLARREAL 0
Before the game
A fortnight ago, the Yellow Submarines of Villarreal sailing into the Santiago Bernabeu was a mere stocking filler of a football match, with Real Madrid far from the top of the table and the men from Madrigal wedged into fourth spot.
Barca's remarkable three match La Liga collapse has now the made the game a humungous humdinger, and a must-win for Real Madrid in the newly-opened title race.
But with all due respect to Eibar and Getafe - Real Madrid's last two easily-overcome opponents in La Liga - Villarreal are no-one's cannon-fodder, primed to be blasted into orbit by the BBC. Instead, the east coast side have been spooky bogeyman for Madrid of late with Villarreal winning the season's other encounter between the pair and grabbing a draw in capital city a year ago.
Barca have done their part in allowing Real Madrid back in the title race. Now Zinedine Zidane's men need to start taking advantage of the helping hand from their Clasico rivals.
Prediction - Villarreal to add another twist to the title race with a draw
MILAN 0 CARPI 0
Before the game
Milan fans have had to learn to be optimistic types of late, what with generally both sucking and blowing for the past couple of seasons to borrow from Bart Simpson.
So there will be some part of the Milan massive on Wednesday that will be harbouring hopes of dropped points for Fiorentina seven points ahead going into round 34, to allow a late, late charge for the Europa League places starting with the visit of Carpi.
But here there be danger for as much as Carpi are just the single place and point above the relegation zone, Italy's mighty minnows have been quite the thorn in the side of some of Serie A's big-hitters this season, including Milan themselves who were held to a goalless draw in December.
Prediction - The wrath of Berlusconi will be incentive enough for a Milan win under new manager Cristian Brocchi
