Lyon will be looking to take advantage of an out of sorts Barcelona side on Tuesday evening in the Champions League. The current La Liga Champions have failed to impress in recent weeks and could be for the taking especially with Lyon stringing together a run of victories in recent weeks. Lyon is taking part in their first Champions League knout out game in seven seasons and will be hoping to arrest the form of five defeats in their last six games at this level in the round of sixteen.

Bruno Genesio's side has improved significantly in recent weeks and has only lost once in their last nine games in all competitions. Lyon will be without influential midfielder Nabil Fekir who will be absent through suspension. Whilst midfielder Tanguy & defender Jason Denayer are injury doubts for the game.

The game comes too late for former Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti who is still recovering from a knee injury. 

Ousmane Dembele returned to first-team action against Valladolid and impressed as a part of a front three with Messi and January signing Kevin Prince- Boateng. The French winger is expected to get the nod ahead of Philippe Coutinho. With the Brazilian struggling for form this season, this could be the opportunity for Dembele to confirm his place in the starting lineup for the business end of the campaign.
