Carla Suarez Navarro produced an excellent performance to brush aside Agnieszka Radwanska and progress to the final of the Qatar Open.
The Spaniard needed just 62 minutes to see off the third seed, claiming a dominant 6-2 6-0 win in Friday's semi-final in Doha.
She will now meet Jelena Ostapenko in the final, the unseeded 18-year-old progressing following Andrea Petkovic's retirement.
A pair of winners off either wing gave Suarez Navarro a break to love in the fifth game of the match.
Two games later she secured the double break and from there Suarez Navarro never looked back, hitting 20 winners to just eight unforced errors in a superb success that will see her rise to a career-high sixth in the WTA world rankings.
"I feel really, really good," Suarez Navarro said. "I think also she was a little tired from yesterday [quarter-final win over Roberta Vinci].
"You work for a long time for this. And to be in the Top 10 is obviously good. I feel good, I feel happy and I think I'm ready for tomorrow [the final]."
Ostapenko, through to her second WTA final, stands between Suarez Navarro and the title.
Petkovic emerged from a series of long games to lead the Latvian 5-1 but, suffering pain in her left thigh, let that advantage slip as Ostapenko saved a set point in a remarkable turnaround to win the set 7-5.
Ostapenko then won the first game of the second set before Petkovic pulled out.
