Qualifier Aliaksandra Sasnovich will meet top seed Irina-Camelia Begu in the final of the Korea Open.
Aliaksandra Sasnovich continued her giant-killing run as she advanced to the Korea Open final after stunning second seed Anna Karolina Schmiedlova in three sets.
Belarusian qualifier Sasnovich upstaged Magdalena Rybarikova and Sloane Stephens en route to the semi-finals in Seoul on Saturday.
And the world number 136, who dropped a set for the first time at the tournament, produced another memorable performance to rally past Slovakian Schmiedlova 3-6 6-3 6-3 in just under two hours on court.
The 21-year-old is now one win away from her maiden title as she prepares to face top seed Irina-Camelia Begu.
Begu barely raised a sweat as she dispatched eighth-seeded Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck 6-0 6-2.
The Romanian fended off four break points and won five of her own, while Van Uytvanck was unable to convert any of her four break-point opportunities.
