With a groin injury sustained at the French Open still troubling him, Juan Martin del Potro has pulled out of Queen's.
Juan Martin del Potro has pulled out of the Aegon Championships at Queen's due to a groin injury.
The 28-year-old Argentine sustained the issue at the French Open, where he suffered a third-round exit to world number one Andy Murray.
Del Potro withdrew from the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships this month and will not make his return yet, perhaps aiming to arrive at Wimbledon in the best shape possible.
"I wanted to tell you that following my doctor's advice, I won't be able to play Queen's this year since I am still recovering from my injury," he wrote in a statement posted on Twitter.
"Queen's is one of my favourite tournaments and I am really sorry for my fans there' I've got great memories of the Queen's Club.
"Patience. I will definitely see you in 2018! Thanks for your support."
Dan Evans also misses out due to a calf issue. Thanasi Kokkinakis and 2011 semi-finalist James Ward have been awarded main-draw wildcards.
