Bianchi funeral to take place on Tuesday
The funeral of Jules Bianchi is to be held on Tuesday, it has been confirmed.
Jules Bianchi will be laid to rest in his hometown of Nice, with the former Formula One driver's funeral taking place on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old passed away on Friday, having sustained a diffuse axonal injury in October last year when he collided with a recovery vehicle at the Japanese Grand Prix.
He underwent surgery and remained in intensive care, but over the weekend a statement from his family confirmed he had passed away.
"You can say goodbye to Jules Tuesday 21 July at 10 am at the Sainte Reparate Cathedral @VilledeNice #CiaoJules," a post on Bianchi's official Twitter account read.
