Wales motivated by 'wall of shame' - Williams
Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards does not hold back in his assessment of player performance.
Centre Scott Williams and his Wales team-mates are desperate to avoid the "wall of shame" as the Rugby World Cup hopefuls prepare to open their campaign against Uruguay.
Players who under-perform are named and shamed by defence coach Shaun Edwards in his relentless post-match analysis.
And the fear of being criticised by Edwards is motivating Williams and the Wales defence to new heights ahead of Sunday's Pool A opener at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
"We will know if we have made some errors on Monday morning," the 24-year-old said.
"Shaun isn't scared of embarrassing anyone, which is good because it keeps you on your toes.
"We have a defence review and a team review. There are a couple of comments on each player, on how we've played, and if he has got a couple of video clips to show, he will.
"I think everyone has been on the wall of shame. We are only human.
"I think everyone has been on it at some point, some more than others, because no-one is the perfect player. Shaun wants to improve us, and his way of helping us is by embarrassing us!
"It's on the TV [screen], so you can't rub it out.
"You don't want to be the one up on the board on Monday morning for a defensive error, or you are going to have Shaun on your back for sure."
