Scotland duo Pyrgos, Brown deal Warriors injury blow
Scotland stars Henry Pyrgos and Fraser Brown have dealt Glasgow Warriors a double injury blow, with the former a Six Nations doubt.
Henry Pyrgos is a doubt for Scotland's Six Nations campaign after being ruled out for at least four months with a wrist injury, while his national team and Glasgow Warriors colleague Fraser Brown is also set for a spell on the sidelines.
Scrum-half Pyrgos, who has 17 caps to his name, underwent surgery on the issue that flared up during Scotland's Rugby World Cup campaign.
With the Six Nations set to start in February, it remains to be seen if the Warriors star will be fit in time to feature for Vern Cotter's side.
Meanwhile, club-mate Brown - who has 15 caps - is set to miss eight weeks of action for the Pro12 champions.
The hooker exacerbated a foot injury at the World Cup and had an operation on the issue, with the Warriors stating Brown will miss up to eight weeks.
