Gronkowski expecting to play full season in 2015
The Patriots' tight end has played the full 16-game schedule just once in his first five NFL seasons.
Rob Gronkowski has a reputation for being one of the NFL's toughest players but he is not the most durable.
The New England Patriots tight end has played the full 16-game schedule just once in his first five NFL seasons but Gronkowski expects to do that again in 2015.
"It feels great, definitely, going into the season just thinking that way," Gronkowski told the Boston Herald.
"Going to go all year long. You just have to take care of your body the whole time. You have to keep making sure you stay up on lifting, so your body's strong. Keeping all up on your eating, massages, all that, so you're ready to go for all 16 games of the year, no doubt."
Gronkowski appeared in 15 regular season games in 2015, the most since 2011 when he played all 16.
That resulted in the second best season of his career as he caught 82 passes for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns as the Patriots went on to win the Super Bowl.
Gronkowski caught a 22-yard pass from Tom Brady for New England's second touchdown of their 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
