Jonathan Quick stopped 31 shots as the Los Angeles Kings made it seven straight wins in the NHL with a 2-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks.

Over 70,000 people saw the Kings triumph thanks to goals from Kyle Clifford and Marian Gaborik in the Coors Light NHL Stadium Series game at Levi's Stadium.

Brent Burns had drawn the Sharks level before Gaborik's goal four minutes, four seconds into the third period.

Niklas Kronwall's overtime goal saw the Detroit Red Wings overcome the Dallas Stars 7-6 in a thriller.

Pavel Datsyuk had two goals and two assists for the winners, while Kronwall also set up a goal to go with his effort.

The Stars led 4-2 and 6-4 but gave up both advantages, with Datsyuk forcing overtime with his goal with 1:48 remaining.

And Kronwall scored 36 seconds into the extra period to see the Red Wings claim the win.
