I wouldn't want to be my team-mate either - Bottas responds to Hamilton's father
Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas believes it is Lewis Hamilton who should be worried about being his team-mate and not the other way around.
Valtteri Bottas has hit back at Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton's father, who said the Finn's move from Williams could be a career-ending one.
Bottas was confirmed as retired Formula One world champion Nico Rosberg's replacement last month.
But Hamilton's father Anthony warned recently that the switch could turn sour for Bottas.
He told Sky Sports News: "Anybody who goes up against Lewis needs to have planned their career correctly because it could be a career-ending move when you go up against Lewis."
Bottas, however, has faith in his abilities and believes it is Hamilton who should be worried about sharing a paddock with him.
"Well, I would never want to be my team-mate either," Bottas told MTV Sport.
"Let's see. The season will start soon and we'll see where we go."
The 2017 F1 season starts on March 26 at the Australian Grand Prix.
