Hamilton 'drove into me' - Rosberg
The tension between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton reached boiling point at the United States Grand Prix in Austin.
Nico Rosberg believes Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton went "one step too far" after an aggressive move at the United States Grand Prix on Sunday.
Rosberg started from pole but was forced down to fifth after the opening few corners due to contact with Hamilton at turn one.
The German had the outside line and track position, but Hamilton appeared to intentionally turn into Rosberg and force him off the track.
Rosberg was furious with his team-mate, claiming the Brit deliberately drove into him.
"I was in front mid-corner, that's the crucial thing," he said. "If I'm in front, then I have a right to the track there.
"He was trying to drive me off the track, but I wasn't moving because I have the right to the track there.
"So he drove into me, and that's definitely one step too far."
The 30-year-old eventually fought back into the lead but a mistake late in the race gifted Hamilton the win and ultimately the world championship.
"Very tough to lose the race like that, with a mistake that I made," Rosberg said.
"It's never really happened to me before, it's a very strange one, so that's definitely a tough one."
