ICC chairman Manohar resigns
The ICC confirmed on Wednesday that Shashank Manohar tendered his resignation in an email.
Shashank Manohar has resigned as ICC chairman just 10 months after he was elected.
Manohar stepped down as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) last May in order to become the ICC's first independent chairman.
But he has now tendered his resignation less than a year into the role with the governing body.
A short statement on the ICC website said: "The ICC has confirmed it has received an email from Chairman Shashank Manohar tendering his resignation.
"The ICC Board will assess the situation and next steps before making a further announcement."
