Bayern Munich head coach Jupp Heynckes has revealed that the club has received no offers for Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal.
Rumors had been swirling that English Champions Chelsea were prepared to table a £30 million bid for Vidal who has been struggling for form this season with the Bundesliga leaders.
However, the 72-year old coach was quick to dismiss the rumours whilst speaking to the local media during Bayern's winter training camp in Doha.
"There has been no contact between the two clubs. This is just speculation, and that tends to happen in the summer and winter transfer windows."
"Bayern will not be releasing any players in the January window, and Vidal is motivated to play well. Vidal is a top player and we need him at his very best if Bayern is to play well" added Heynckes
Bayern is to wrap up their winter camp in Doha with a friendly match against Qatar Stars League side Al Ahli. The Bavarian giants will then return back to Germany to prepare for their first Bundesliga game of the year, where they will take on Bayer Leverkusen. Bayern currently has an 11 point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.
