Love returns from injury, Trail Blazers win in OT
Kevin Love made his first appearance since the opening round of last season's NBA play-offs.
Kevin Love made his long-awaited return from a shoulder injury as the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Toronto Raptors.
Love had surgery in April after dislocating his left shoulder against the Boston Celtics in the opening round of last season's NBA play-offs.
And the 27-year-old finally returned to the court in Sunday's 87-81 pre-season loss.
Love posted six points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 13 minutes for the Cavs.
"It's the best I've felt in a long time," Love said.
"When the regular season starts it's a whole different grind, but it's a good starting point, for sure."
The Cavs, who remain winless in pre-season, were led by Maurice Williams' 13 points and 12 points apiece from Matthew Dellavedova and Anderson Varejao.
Jonas Valanciunas scored 12 points for the Raptors.
Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum starred as the Portland Trail Blazers overturned a 21-point deficit to beat the Utah Jazz 116-111 after overtime.
Lillard, who forced overtime with two free-throws with 2.6 seconds remaining in regulation, posted 32 points.
McCollum scored 18 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and overtime.
Trey Burke was the Jazz's leading scorer with 22 points.
Elsewhere, the Brooklyn Nets edged the Philadelphia 76ers 92-91.
The Memphis Grizzlies humbled the Minnesota Timberwolves 90-68, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Denver Nuggets 111-98, the San Antonio Spurs downed the Detroit Pistons 96-92 and the Atlanta Hawks lost 101-92 to the Miami Heat.
