Qatar captain Hassan Haydoos has revealed his pride in coming home with the Asian Cup on Saturday evening.
The 28-year old attacker was a key man in the Maroons Asian Cup triumph, scoring a decisive chipped goal in the 4-0 semi-final win over hosts the UAE. Speaking after arriving in Doha, the Al Sadd player was quick to thank the Amir and the public for coming out to cheer the side on their return.
"The arrival with the Cup to Doha and the reception of His Highness the Amir all is an unthinkable feeling."
"It is a feeling of pride will stay with me for life, especially in light of this great presence of audience for our reception on the Corniche" added Haydoos.
