Yaya Toure has revealed that his future will be revealed in the next “few days”. The Ivorian midfielder had come to the end of his contract with Manchester City and had been linked with a host of Premier League sides, including West Ham United. 

Toure, 35 has been a guest of beIN SPORTS Arabic during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. When first asked about his future the former Man City star was clear he had a few more years left in the tank. 

“I want one or two or more years at a high level first.” 

“After, I want to show to the people my dedication to football. I don’t see myself anywhere less than football. I hope I will be able the fans to enjoy if I still have the energy” added Toure when asked about his plans after retirement. Perhaps hinting at a football administration role. 

Tellingly Toure ended the conversation suggested that a deal had already been made with his next club. “In a few days everything will be a little clearer.”
